TRAVEL & LOGISTICS
Cibolo Creek Ranch is located outside of Marfa on U.S. Highway 90 (south of Interstate 10 and north of Big Bend National Park).
Please note that the property is remote. Cell service can be limited during the drive, and we recommend planning gas station stops ahead of time!
It’s not uncommon for visitors to the area to visit more than one town over a few days. Marathon, Marfa, Fort Davis, and Marfa are < 1 hour drives to Cibolo Creek Ranch and have attractions. (see Marfa Guide - Days Trips for more information).
Directions to the Ranch (from Marfa)
Follow US 67 south from Marfa. The ranch entrance is 33.4 miles south of the flashing red lights at the major highway intersection in Marfa.
One mile before you get to our gate, you will see a sign that says “HISTORICAL MARKER 1 MILE.”
The gate will be one mile beyond, on the right, bordered by rock walls, next to the historical marker.
You will see the ranch flag with the “F” brand flying on the flagpole at the gate.
Go through the open double wooden gates. When you have gone approximately 4 miles, you will come to an electric gate. To open the gate, press the doorbell button on the post to your left.
The fort is just a short distance ahead.
